The RF coil kit is an educational package for individuals wishing to learn about RF coil function and design. It is suitable for MR facilities, universities and research institutes that aim to build dedicated RF coils for their applications or various other purposes. The RF coil kit takes the user through the first steps of RF coil construction and explains the necessary basic theory along the way. Afterwards, more advanced tasks for RF coil analysis are introduced. The RF coil kit encompasses all necessary consumables and components. They are all comfortably stored in a small suitcase. Optionally, the RF coil kit includes a basic USB network analyzer for tuning and matching of the coils. Two versions of the kit can be ordered; a version for loop RF coils and/or a version for birdcage RF coils.
